                             Did you know that things like plastic bottles, coffee cups, tires, toys, lawn fertilizers, and anything else that can be carried by water could end up in the Potomac River? These items can come from yards, streets, playgrounds or anywhere else in the watershed.

TRASH is an indicator of the respect we have for our communities, our environment and our heritage. A healthy river is a sign of a responsible and involved community. What does an unhealthy river tell about us?
