Directions to Little
Bennett Regional Park: Little Bennett Regional Park is located in
northern Montgomery County near Clarksburg, MD. The park has a large
campground area called the Primitive Site.
Take 270 North toward
Frederick. Stay on 270 for a while passing Gaithersburg and Germantown. Take
Exit 18 on to Route 121 (Clarksburg Road). From the exit ramp, turn right at
the stop sign and stay on Clarksburg Road. You will see brown signs for
Little Bennett but do not follow the signs. Cross over Frederick Road (Route
355) and continue on Route 121 for several miles. Keep going until you come
down a large hill. At the bottom of the hill, there is a bridge and small
parking lot on the right. Be alert, the lot is small and the entrance to the
Primitive Site is small. There is a gate to let you on to a gravel road
(Kingsley Trail). Go through the gate and follow the gravel road for a few
miles until it winds to the left up a steep hill. Look for parked cars.
